Happy Love Month!
Valentine's Day may over- but God's Love is Eternal.
As we are in the middle of February- the month of love- I wanted to take this opportunity to talk about the love of Jesus.
Love can often be seen in roses, gifts like jewelry, cards, and candlelit dinners. Before the world defined love with flowers and feelings, God defined it with sacrifice. The greatest love story ever written began long before Valentine's Day.
God's love is not seasonal. It is not temporary. It is not dependent on your performance. It is not shaken, not even by your worst day. It is not fragile- it is strong and steadfast.
It is relentless. It is unfailing. His love for us is eternal.
Jeremiah 31:3 tells us, "I have loved you with an everlasting love." That means before you achieved anything, before you failed at anything and after you failed, before you even understood who you were- you were already deeply loved.
His love is vast- wider than your doubts.
It is deep- deeper than your mistakes.
It is steady- even when your hearts feels unsteady.
Romans 8 reminds us that nothing can separate us from the love of Christ. Not our past. Not our fear. Imperfections. Not even the seasons where we feel distant or lost.
When the world defines love as a feeling, God defines it as commitment. As sacrifice. As grace.
This month, we don't just celebrate romantic love- we celebrate God's love. The kind that pursues. Redeems. The kind that stays.
If this month feels lonely, or heavy, or uncertain. If you've been feeling unseen, weary, or unworthy- remember this truth: You are eternally loved by a faithful Father who will never leave you or forsake you. Who has never wished you were someone else. Who is always there, waiting with open loving arms.
You are fully known- and still fully loved.
You are called by name. You are chosen.
That kind of love changes everything.
From my heart to yours- may you walk confidently this month knowing that you are wrapped in the most powerful love that has ever & will ever exist.
